The Prince
Kal-El arrives in Bangkok with his single father, Joe, and older brother, Liam. The sound of an indoor kart track draws him in. For a moment, he has found something that is entirely his.
Then the older drivers invite him to race. Their welcome turns into coordinated bullying on the track, and Kal-El is left humiliated. Joe takes the boys north to find Woodie, a coach whose workshop attracts a very different crowd.
Through repetition, failure and the help of his new teammates, Kal-El starts to rebuild his confidence. Mai, the mechanic’s daughter, challenges him in ways that have little to do with lap times. Liam, who has always been his protector, wants a chance to drive and a place of his own.
As Kal-El prepares for his first tournament at Bira, his growing ambition puts the people closest to him under pressure.
Some race for glory.
You race to find yourself.
